Chris Duskin is a Los Angeles based cinematographer. Originally from New York, Chris attended NYU Film School. But his real film education came from working in the various commercial production companies in Manhattan. Chris worked as a camera assistant on many films, his first two being When Harry Met Sally and Robocop. He also worked on The RockConspiracy TheoryBenny and JuneArtificial Intelligence (AI) and the zero gravity unit on Apollo 13. Chris became a camera operator and worked on such films as TransformersKnight and DayDream GirlsFast and Furious 5Team AmericaSomething’s Got To GiveRide Along and for HBO’s Behind The Candelabra to name just a few. This gave him the opportunity to work with some outstanding directors including Rob Reiner, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola and Steven Soderbergh.

As a cinematographer Chris has worked extensively in television and feature films. For television he was the cinematographer for the final Season of Nip/Tuck and the action units for NCIS: L.A. as well as additional cinematography on ABC’s Mindgames.

As for feature films Chris has shot the action units for Hangover 2 and This Means War. The action genre being one in which he has very extensive experience in. He also shot the Screen Gems romantic comedy Think Like A Man Too as well as the opening sequence of Kevin Hart’s What Now? with director Tim Story.

Chris recently finished Passengers as the 2nd unit DP under Rodrigo Pietro.
